First Step to more freedom and more time with my Daughter! (13)

Hi guys, this is my second post on STM. I decided to make a follow along, because it's going
to keep me motivated throughout the whole process.

I quick story about me.

I've been doing affiliate marketing with SEO for about 4 years, back and forth. I've had some
success with it, and it landed me a full time job in a Norwegian Digital Marketing Agency.

I'm also running 15 adwords accounts for medium business to some of Norways biggest brands.
So i'm not unfamilliar with PPC.

My motivation

A long story short, the mother of my child moved to Oslo, so I have my daughter full time for the next
few years. I want more freedom to spend with my daughter, more free time to take care of myself.

Why Facebook

I'm seeing lots of people doing very well with facebook, and I also plan on starting a few Pages in
some of my passion niches when the time is right.


I'l update this thread with my first campaign later today, and talk a little about my strategy and
first impression with Facebook.

I am, eventually. But i want to give facebook a try, because of the possibility of direct linking to offers.

Right now I amin the proccess of creating a new website for the Norwegian Market, and are probably going to implement Adwords when I get some traction in Search with it.

1 Day Update

I'm just not getting my ads approved.

I'm currently testing First Date offer from Peerfly, with a payout of 12$.

I'm using Prosper for tracking, and Their DMR cloaking function.

Also, I have an unlimited account on Facebook, my ads get Approved/dissaproved quite fast. Approx 2h.

I tested another Affiliate Network (Euroads), Without any redirection, and they got approved instantly.

Anyone had any experience with Peerfly offers on Facebook?

I think with dating you should go for Adsimilis, they have a ton of dating offer with a lot of country available.

Make sure to check your chosen offers on MyWOT before submitting them to Facebook - if the offer is yellow or red on MyWOT, FB will probably reject direct-linked ads.

Day 2

Back with another update.

My first run at dating was really painful. I spent two days trying to get my ads approved. When they eventually where approved, disapproved 1 hour later.

Like @Caurmen mentioned the website of the offer had really bad rating at WOT, and probably why i had a hard time with it.
I have signed up to BE2 Norway on one of my affiliate network, and are awaiting approval.

In the meantime......

I've started a Survey campaign instead, where the partisipant can win a wine tasting trip up to 30.000 NOK.

I just want to get the feel of how the facebook advertising platform works.

Campaign: Survey / Wine tasting Trip

This ad targets 62,000 people:
who live in Norway
exactly between the ages of 30 and 40 inclusive
who are female
who like ving norge as, reise, norwegian, sas, travel, rødvin or wine
Spend: 2.99$
Clicks: 7
Conversions: 0

I have lots of impressions, but not many clicks, so I am going to be a bit more creative with my angle and split test more images.

Currently I am running 1 campaign with 10 ads, 10 different pictures, same headline and body.
