Hey Guys,
I'm trying to use p202 bc i bought Landing Page Genius and i think it just fits with p202 better than cpvlab... It feels clunky on cpvlab...
How can i rotate offers AND LP's in p202? How do you guys do it? Everything ive found from googling points me to articles from 2008, there must be a better way...
BTW, i know about the URL rotator under campaign (affiliate network), but how would you track individual offers and if they are cross networks.... Ie. not all with f5 or adsimilis, ie 2 w/ adsimilis and 2 with f5, etc..
Landing page genius comes with a custom php redirect. So you can just use that to rotate landers, then rotate offers by entering them into 'campaigns' in p202. Once you've set up a go.php file (what you link to as the outbound link from your lp), click through traffic will be redirected between a maximum of 5 offers.
Alternatively you can use the included redirect code to rotate between different go.php files if you are using an advanced lp.
Traffic source -> custom php redirect included with LPG -> landing page link (generated from 'get links') -> traffic clicks through -> go.php (rotate between offers, based on what is set in 'campaigns')
*Edit - Didn't notice the last part of your post. If you rotate between different go.php files (advanced lander) you'll be able to track the best offers in p202, but I'd recommend using the built in rotator because it is faster and easier to update. You can just look on the aff networks manually to see the best performers, can also send a subid through to the network to differentiate the traffic. E.g. offerlink.com?s4=campaignX
What i did now is the custom redirect from LPG then i am using the one go.php that has a campaign (in 202) setup with 4 rotating URL's through the p202 platform....
It rotates but there is no way to tell the different offers apart, bc they are all under one campaign..... I think the p202 rotate url thing is meant to be for differnt landing pages of the same offer....
So, what your saying is that for every offer i have to create a go.php file and rotate through those? Is that how you guys do it?
Well personally I'd use the inbuilt rotator and simply check on the aff networks which offers are getting the best EPC. If needed, add an extra subid to each offer link to identify/differentiate it on each network. If you want to see this info in p202, then yes you're right. You'll need to set up separate campaigns for each offer, generate a go.php for each campaign (go1, go2 etc.) then rotate between them on the outbound link.
