Setting up cpvlab to track Juicy without waste

Does anyone know of any good posts or anything I can reference for some guidance with setting up cpvlab to properly track on juicy.

I am currently using multiple option campaigns with geo targeting via the traffic source.
My issue comes in with the idea of buying a placement with a half dozen or so countries that I would want to direct to various landers/offers based on location.

I get the idea in general in my head but can't seem to make sense of it in practice. One problem is that cpvlab doesn't support geo-redirection (yet). I know I could use a script on the lander but am unsure how to best incorporate that into the tracking.

Can anyone who is doing this with a mind to not waste any of the traffic chime in with some advice?

Thanks
TC

I don't run this kind of campaign personally right now, but what you could do is create a different campaign for each GEO and put them in the same group.

E.g.: JuicyAds_001_US, JuicyAds_001_UK, JuicyAds_001_AU etc and create the group "JuicyAds_001".

In the GEO redirect script, instead of LP URLs you use the according CPVLab campaign URL.

This way you can see the campaign's overall performance in the campaign overview by filtering the group and zero in on specific GEOs in the separate campaign's stats.

would imobitrax handle something like that easily? I looked at it for a minute, not in depth at all, was kinda turned off by the monthly fee. worth it in your opinion?

thanks andyvon, I thought about trying something similar to that. I can't think of a better approach right now.

btw, is cpvlab development dead? the website says 2.12 is current while showing a video of 2.08 and I have 2.16 installed. they sent an email awhile back talking about an update but haven't seen anything new.

If you're starting to run campaigns with a strong georedirection element, I'd strongly recommend trying the STM Mobile Tracker. It's bloody good for Web campaigns too, and it's got country tracking and redirection built in. It'll probably do better for this purpose than CPVLab.

I'm on CPVLab (thinking of switching soon), and I use Andyvon's method.

I also add an extra 'Remnant' campaign which I'll trawl from time to time, mainly to see if I'm getting traffic from extra countries I can monetize.

It's not ideal but it gets the job done. Is there any word on an upgrade to CPVLab? I thought it was due about 16 years ago?!

Another way would be to send all traffic to a php page that redirects to current country and then passes the correct country to c1..c4 in propser / cpvlab.

This way no need for multiple campaigns and you can analyze data easily.
