$15,000+ in second month!
Dear STMers:
I would like to thank everyone for their great contributions to this forum because of which I'm able to restart my AM journey. I took up AM as a full-time career back in Dec 2007 running ringtone, rebills, zip submits just through Adwords alone. I made some decent money for a few years until about late 2009. While I was gone from 2010 till early 2013, I developed and run a file hosting company, where I served 1.2M visitors daily, and made about $100k+/month in revenues. I was running Adsense for some time, and in April 2012, I generated ad revenues of $112,000, and Google decided to not pay me! Yeah, I broke down at the moment when they suspended my account, and basically told me screw you! However, it was great while it lasted, but it's not a viable business anymore. I still own the business, and I might sell it off someday.
So, I joined STM early May 2013 and kept reading the forums for almost a month to understand how FB's platform worked. I was on a hiatus from the AM industry for more than 3 years after I got an Adwords ban in Nov 2009 (we all remember the mass bans now don't we?). That year I had made $1.2M alone using Google Adwords using a cloaker that I custom developed myself in late 2007 (I come from a Computer Science background, although I dropped out of college. I'm not intelligent--I just work hard). It still works like a charm today, just that Google hates affiliates, and will sniff out an affiliate account. So, I was sick and tired of dealing with bans and recreating accounts, and finally embraced the thought of venturing out into different traffic source. Since I come from a heavy Adwords' background, I could never understand Facebook and dreaded to look into other traffic sources just because I was good at Adwords. Had it not been STM, I could have never understood it (Facebook's advertising platform).
Anyhow, so, I finally ran an offer that has done well with me in the past on Adwords (making me $100k/mo) back in the days, and starting this month, I've generated revenues of almost $16,000. I plan on hitting 100k/months with Facebook in the near future with dating, and other verticals. I also plan on venturing out into adult dating, and PPV.
Here's the revenue screenshot:

A BIG THANK YOU to STM and all members for your wonderful support!
I have learnt that the distance between your dreams and reality is ACTION.
Cheers!

Thanks! Well, after I lost 4 of my Adwords' accounts in 2009, I've tried to create accounts one after another, and they just kept getting banned. I also tried "buying" established accounts, but they'd eventually get suspended. I tried to stick with the traffic source that I am really good at, but it seems that luck ain't favoring me.
I would use a virtual machine and use a unique proxy IP to connect to those accounts, but they just would not work. After a while, they'd get suspended.
If you have a secret as to how to survive a ban, I'm all ears, and I'd appreciate your advise on that. It seems that they've now gotten real good at detecting whether the ad is an "affiliate" ad or not. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I've just given up on Adwords. It's too bad as they seem to have a humungous inventory, and campaigns do convert really well.

Thanks! I guess others have inspired me, and it's just a way of giving back to the community that persistent and hard work do pay off. It just requires tremendous amount of patience, and willingness to not give up so easily. There are good rewards provided you are willing to lose a little initially.

Hey and congrats on your success! Couple notes on Adwords:
1) You cannot run an ad directly to sales page of your affiliate offer
2) Google told me multiple times that I can own multiple accounts, but you cannot run an ad with the same domain in it (duplicate ad serving).
All in all, see what exactly is linked between your two accounts. Usually it will be the credit card, the name, address, or even the phone number that you activated your account with. This happened to me this morning!

Since it all form one campaign I am assuming this is not from dating correct? Just wondering, I make a similar amount in dating atm but it comes with a lot of annoying stuff, dealing with possible FB account bans, getting kicked off offers due ot poor conversions with males etc.

I never direct linked to the offer. I always had a landing page. If you want good quality for your advertiser, you gotta have a landing page.
Post the 2009 bans, I tried signing up new accounts and used proxies along with virtual machines. I think that was the reason why they kept banning my accounts.
As for using the same domains, same ads, billing info etc. across multiple ad accounts, I would never do that. That's a recipe for disaster.

Yeah, it's not from dating. it's a zip submit. I'm glad that you're making that kind of money from dating. If you make that kinda money, you just gotta scale and scale. It's not that difficult to make 100k/month after I saw what the potential is from Facebook's traffic.

Very cool, great to see someone break the mold of always doing dating offers or gaming (which seems a big theme here). Ya I'm definitely scaling more but with dating I have to deal with account bans and offers not backing out for the advertiser. Rotating offers to find a winning one for me and the advertiser is the big challenge. Good luck in the other verticals you are going to try on FB. I recommend making backup FB accounts just in case before you risk a ban even if you seem completely clean right now in your head

The reason why I got started with that zip submit because I know that offer *very* well. So, it was a good starting point to see what Facebook is all about and how choosing the right images can make or break your campaign. The problem with that offer is that conversions start to tank after 2pm EST, so I have to have someone in another timezone manage my ads and reduce the budget to $1 for all those campaigns. However, it's not a mainstream niche such as dating, so it's hard to find prospects who'd convert. I think the real money is in dating and gaming just because there's a lot of volume, and those are evergreen niches. I'm all for pushing anything that puts food on the table. I was skeptical about pushing flogs back in the day, but I had nothing else that was working out and at that volume.
I guess the reason why you're getting banned and being kicked off the offers is because you push male demo, right? I've heard that 30+ women demo is usually golden for the advertiser, so I think I'm just going to stick to pushing women demo for dating. Granted, it's difficult to find the right mix of creatives, but once you're got it all figured out, it's pretty much on auto pilot. There are some members who exclusively push women demo for dating, and are doing very well. What I really want to try is to make dating offers convert with PPV. I've done a little bit of credit reports back in my day, and I tried doing some PPV with CR/CS offers, but I ended up burning $600.
I did get one of my accounts banned but I think it didn't look like a genuine account (no profile photo, no real friends, no profile history etc.). The two accounts that I'm currently "renting" have good profile history, so most of it flies. However, I want to diversify as much as possible.
