Hey guys,
I have been reading these forums for almost a month now and I have narrowed down my choices to either starting with mobile or adult. Those two make the most sense to me. I am going to be testing with about $30-$40/day. Eventually, after I master one of these, I plan on also doing non-adult media buys.
Which one would be better suited for both my starting budget as well as be good training for non-adult media buys in the future?
Thanks,
sanfernandicus
Budget is pretty low for both, but if I had to pick one, I'd go with adult simply as with all the carrier/handset variables involved in mobile, it's going to be more than tough to test with $40 / day.
Do adult mobile haha
Do both... I don't think "mobile" is going to have as much distinction in the next few years as it does today, so I'd probably get familiar with it so you can stay ahead of the curve.
As mentioned, the budget is low for mobile. You're much more likely to find yourself splurging through an entire day's budget without a single conversion to show for it. If you decide to take that route, you'll need a lot of patience.
I would start with adult on the web.
Thanks for all the responses guys. Looks like I am going to go with Adult and raise my daily advertising spend a bit.
I also suggest starting in less competitive markets to get more bang for your buck. You'll get swallowed in most English speaking, German, NL, etc.
^ Yeah, which is why I'd suggest getting LPs and creatives translated in to Spanish first. More countries to target with less translations.
My vote too goes to adult web.
If your new, adult web. It's easier to grasp
I would vote adult web then transition to mobile.
You can start with mobile 1-click billing offers like binbit offers. They are with easiest conversion flow and high CR.
What about PPV vs Adult web?
there are Adult CPA networks right?
Yeah adult web would be my choice too, but once again your budget is really quite low considering how low margins seem to be in Adult right now. If you land a successful campaign don't be scared to get out the credit card, you make money on volume!
With a budget that low, you could make some money if you go very niche related like Finch has spoken about before on this forum
