Quick Approval on the Ad but slow approval on sponsored stories
I keep running into this. Within the main camp there is the Ad that always gets approved quick for me and then the sponsored story which takes forever. I just paused on the ad and am waiting on the sponsored story to be approved so that I can start running. My last Camp I just deleted the Sponsored Story as I was sick of waiting and that was clearly the wrong move.
Any insight?

I have to wait till it is approved to run my camp as I am doing a redirect so if its still in approval process and they see my redirect then the account goes bye bye
Oddly enough I made another Ad and both the Ad and Sponsored Story were approved in an hour. I am still waiting on the original Sponsored story to be approved.

I wouldn't wait for the sponsored stories personally, they've always performed poorly. Although I guess them taking longer to approve will avoid retros in the future.

If you're redirecting (bait and switch?) in a way they could easily see during approval then long approval times are the least of your worries.

Ahh, just playing it safe then. With FB the approval times sway up and down, it's not something you can easily circumvent. My advice would be to make duplicates of the ads (perhaps in different campaigns as well) a few minutes apart and just hope one of them gets approved faster than the others. Then delete the pending ones you no longer need.

See im scared to delete the pending ones for fear that facebook will still review it for some reason.
