Facebook + Coregs?
Does anyone know whether facebook + coregs combinations work anymore?
Examples like "Get a free iPhone" or "Walmart gift card" etc.
I remember the conversions used to be good but Facebook cracked down on these offers and weren't accepting them anymore because there was loads of them running.
Have they become more lenient about this? What's everyone's experience with this combination?
Appreciated.

Facebook has become anything but more lenient. I imagine they haven't liked offers like that and coreg for a good.. 2+ years now?
You won't get anything even remotely related to these types of offers through without cloaking. Even then, user complaints are likely to burn your campaign (and account) real quick.

Christ so much rubbish being spouted on here these day. Have you listened to yourself?

Feel free to start a campaign linking straight to a gift card offer, I'm sure it will go swell. Virtually every offer like that is red-ranked on MyWoT for good reason so you're not going to get it through without breaking ToS. There are certainly the other methods, e.g. fanpages, random opt in pages that then link to apps etc., but has Facebook become more lenient about anything like this in the past year? Not really.

Sure they work and I don't think you'll even have a problem getting ads through. But Facebook isn't going to be happy about it simply because they do not like affiliates who promote these types of offers, I'm sure there is tons of money to be made but prepare to burn through accounts even if you have proper cloaking.

It just annoys me when people like you try to scaremonger and theorise what happens just because
1) You've never ran coreg on facebook OR
2) You've tried it and failed.
Yes, people are cloaking, and yes people are burning through accounts. However there are people making well over 6 figures a month doing it.
Do they get their pants in a twist at having to cloak? I doubt it
Do they worry about losing accounts when the reward is so great? I also doubt it.
Its like any business, there is risk vs reward. Its been a good while since anyone gave a fuck what facebook approved and doesn't approve anymore.

Why should one worry about burning through accounts if there is tons of money to be made?

No I haven't run coreg on Facebook, it's not my kind of approach to that traffic source. Raduseven asked whether FB + coreg works and whether they have become more lenient about it. I'm not trying to scaremonger but just be straight up about the fact it's sitting in that (big) pile of 'stuff FB doesn't like and will ban you for', so leniency is not really in their vocabulary. I'd much rather advise caution than say just go for it, for all I know losing his account could be devastating. As for whether it works, you and others have answered that so I hope Radu's questions have been satisfied.

If you can get around the FB account issue, by all means cloak and hit it.
