Hey Guys, been testing mobile offers like crazy the past few days on inMobi. The offer converts but my struggle has been getting the users to click through to the offer page. Tested different landers/angles and still can't break 3%. Is this the norm for these types of offers? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
You got decent hosting too? Checked your load times?
Maybe it was certain pub in inmobi giving you bot or dud clicks?
Try on another source as well.
How many clicks lost between inmobi reporting and your own LP stats?
3% is definitely low.
Check
- Loading times & track you siteids ^^
Also
- Manually test your landing page on 1-2 phones of yours/friends to make sure its 100% working on mobile
- Try a different traffic source for a quick test comparison
3% is def not good for these kind of offers.
Are you sure you not losing any clicks? Did you compare clicks on inmobi vs clicks on lander vs clicks on aff network?
Is your lander a good one or just the original weekly winner?
Last thing , check pubids on inmobi and see if there is one doing most volume and has shitty quality.
haha bbrock is mindreading my soul and stealing my ideas
Weekly winner has been all over the place for some years, maybe it's time to change the design or come up with a better angle
also inmobi is shit
Hey guys, ugh just took a while to write back and X'd out the screen. Anyways, thanks for all of your replies. To answer your questions - I am running on Beyond's VPS 2048 - from what I heard, it's relatively decent (would love some opinions on that). As far as click loss is concerned, inmobi has 499 clicks and imobitrax is showing 493. So that's not bad at all. Since I am a fresh noob when it comes to mobile, I am not too sure as to how to track site id's on inmobi. Here is the referrer report from imobitrax. http://prntscr.com/1e5yva - Would love to get some advice on setting that up. I tested the lander on my buddy's phone (android os) forget which phone it is, and my phone (iPhone4s) and it renders fine and loads quickly. Also tested it on GT-Metrix, Android, Galaxy Nexus simulator, and here are the results. http://prntscr.com/1e5ztp
Also, I did test the lander widely used for these types of offers, and it had the same result. So I whipped up several angles (searched google trends to find the top searches in AU), made a few theme related landers around that - got the same result. At this point, I am not sure as to how I should proceed besides testing the same offer on another network. The weird thing is the same lander which I tested in AU, yields a 0.24% CTR in ZA. Lastly, I am not sure if this is hindering my performance/or not - this is what I am selecting on the campaign creation page in inmobi - http://prntscr.com/1e5yhg
Don't want to get off topic - but I tested another offer (mp3 downloads) in ZA, direct linked and found something strange. 444 clicks - and only 256 made it to the advertisers page. Almost a 200 click disparity..
Ugh! This mobile thing is definitely much much more challenging than FB ... would love to get your opinions on what I am doing wrong. Thanks a bunch guys!
I tested sweeps with InMobi and you are right, I see around 7% CTR to offer
while on different other mobile sources I get 30-40% CTR
I've had good times with InMobi too, it's 100% 1-2 bad pubs sending you and what seems to be others bad traffic. Track them asap and you'll see
Since you guys run with inmobi, drop the token or whatever tracks pubs on here too.
It's __si__cb , but need them to enable it for your account.
It's __si__cb, but they have to enable it for your account.
They have been enforcing a $500/day spend inorder to access that feature.
actually. you just need to spend overall around USD 5k or more, so they know you'll a keeper, and they'll open anything for you to maintain your spendings... it also applies to several other networks. Like they always said, don't spread yourself too thin, when you spend enough on 1 network doors will open
What joejoe said, just grab a rep!
Funny thing is they opened it on my account and I have not spent even 1K yet.
