Lifespan of a PPV Campaign?

Currently working with POF, and it's tough dealing with the lifespan of campaigns there. I'm making it work for now, but I'm going to be diving into PPV soon.

While many factors can affect the life of a campaign, what would you guys say is the general lifespan of a PPV campaign? A few days? Weeks? Months?

Depends on the offer availability but can be anywhere from a week to a couple of months. That's in the case of CPA, but if you go cps it could last longer.

Yep like tijn said it depends on the offer as well as the targets. I've had a campaign last for 8 months on TV where I found a unique offer and high volume target with low competition. I've also tried trending campaigns with email submits that have lasted only a week.

That's awesome! Shit, I keep bouncing back and forth between wanting to stick with POF or to dive into PPV while continually learning POF.

Campaigns are hit and miss. You never know what the longevity is going to be with any traffic source or offer. There are way too many things in the chain to go wrong, so you've got to constantly be building. That being said, I am usually able to get a good campaign going for at least a couple of months. If it was a daily or weekly thing I would probably get frustrated with that and move on to something else.

Thanks for all your input!

Fuck it. I'll just dive in and get my feet wet. That's what I did with POF and it worked lol.

It really depends on the offer / targets you are bidding/competition.

With that being said I've had a big campaign running for 8 months straight on LI and spending from $500 - $2000 / day.

Campaign lifespan is related directly to how broad you go.

Ive had an offer at TV last for 3 years now. it might die out as some of the shit I was doing is now outed in this forum though.. hehe

Really inspiring stuff guys. Waiting for one of my LI campaigns to be approved so I can finally get the ball rolling. Can't wait to get something running for even a few weeks.

Depends on the niche, and even the offer itself. Depends on your targeting as well.

I have a few gaming offers that have been running close to 6 months now on TV.
