Hello,
I have been running quite a bit traffic on Facebook in the weight loss niche. My offers are free trials, like Green Coffee, Garcinia Cambodia.
I can get lots of clicks on my ads and landing pages(to offer page). But my EPC is 50 cents or less. I've used AAO, C2M and MB and am driving down the network EPC (sorry guys). Every networks have looked at my landing pages and are some stumped. I'm running the top converting offers from their networks. I am using flogs which have a very good click through rate..
I should mention the other thing is strange. I am running a two-step offer. Where someone clicks on the first offer and second offer (a colon cleanser). I will get a lots of clicks on the first offer and very few of the second. Like the following stats
step 1. 932 clicks
step 2. 23 clicks
PS
I'd like to run non-flog style pages, but this is where it started with and has worked okay so far.. If someone could lend me a hand in the area, landing pages, suggestions, coaching, etc. I would gladly pay.
Thanks everyone for your time!
Brian
has the epc always been low for you, or did it start out good and drop over time?
It seems every day it is 50 cents or less (yes always lower).. It might start out well and get a couple conversions and then stop, but it depends on the network. It gets to the point where it is uneconomical to continue running ads. Once it gets to 30 cent EPC or about. I just pause it as they don't seem to reverse the trend.
My stats at C2M for the month are
clicks conversions EPC
2405 17 $0.23
thanks for the reply,
Brian
I would have your AM at the network you ran the most volume to reach out to the advertiser. Rebill advertisers scrub same way as CPL advertisers, sometimes arbitrarily high, but other times if they're getting a lot of chargebacks on the traffic. If you have the ability to send volume here with a certain epc, then get in contact with them directly or through the network and see if you can work something out. If it's backing out for them and not getting a ton of chargebacks, chances are you'll be able to work out a workable epc that works for both of you.
oh I forgot the other part:
I should mention the other thing is strange. I am running a two-step offer. Where someone clicks on the first offer and second offer (a colon cleanser). I will get a lots of clicks on the first offer and very few of the second. Like the following stats

That is an odd situation.
When you say you are using the standard "flog" style page I'm assuming you at least copied a half decent one. However it may be your problem. I'd say in order of likelihood you issues are:
1. You are using page ads on Facebook and have neglected to make sure to target only desktops. Page ads can end up on mobile devices and convert a bit different for mobile traffic...
2. Your ads get you a cheap CPC but are not attracting a "buying" crowd. This is caused by targeting demos that click but have no money and throwing words like "free" into the ad when people need to pull out a CC. If you are coming close to breaking even with .5 offer EPCs this might be the case.
3. The LP you ripped from someone else has some tricky code. They are sending you "fake" clicks while redirecting the real ones to themselves so you take longer to figure it out. Have you checked every line of your code and understand it enough to know if that is happening?
4. LP you using sucks a little to much. Same thing can happen with LP as ads, to much mention of "free" and things like that can get click through but will hurt conversions. It can sometimes be subtle differences.
5. You are just very unlucky and this comes down to scrubbing and bad timing.
Oh and FYI if your location is actually Minnesota and you end up making this work the only thing you have to look forward to is the FTC taking all your money for running "flogs" if you are doing this for the US.
okay yes I'm looking over all things mentioned. Thanks for your feedback. Yes I don't want the FTC coming back. I will be having some landing pages that are less misleading made up.
as stated above trials scrub like anyone else .....
if you saying "free samples " on your ads or landing page your gonna get scrubbed....
