I set up some AdIQuity campaigns and I've been choosing CPC pricing. Should I use CPC or CPM pricing? Are there scenarios you would want to use one over the other?
The offer I’m running is a 0.26 app install. Some stats over the past few days:
0.35 CTR
2.5% CR
0.006 EPC
CPM will always be cheaper if you have a high CTR.
Make 2 campaigns, spend $50 with each, and then you'll know for sure. I think you'll need a higher CTR than 0.35% for CPM to end up being cheaper.
Just remember not to be blinded by CTR when bidding CPM, you still need strong creatives that attract the right users.
Example I can get 2% CTR with creative "FREE Sex" but if I'm selling mortgage refi that won't convert for shit.
