Most of the topics on this Thread/category of the forum are for advanced mobile affiliates, but we have a few pearl's of wisdom to share for the rest of you, courtesy of Mobile Marty B. (of Tapit) who gave an outstanding webinar with our publishers last week. Here's what we gleaned – hopefully it helps you out on your mobile path. There are primarily 2 types of traffic – mobile web traffic and in-app traffic
* 1 billion impressions – 60% of traffic is US, but UK, AU are other big ones - China, Germany, Brazil, Spain, Italy, France
*Everything can work, there is no "sweet spot" – landing pages AND direct linked, advertiser creatives, wifi – just depends on the offer, the market, and how you are testing.
* Italy – 2 million iPhone and another 2 million android
* Brazil and Russia – android, working well on Tapit
* To access unused blackberry traffic at the end of the month, get with Marty on this! Yes blackberry traffic is still legit , for the most part
*Dayparting for mobile - 4pm–10pm local peak times (generalized)
* Tapit.com/traffic – bookmark it , helpful hints to guide you!
