I had some software a year or two ago that would pre-fill fields (name/email/etc) with facebook information if they are logged in. I am running some traffic from Facebook so I think this would increase opt-ins a ton.
Does anyone know any workarounds/software/scripts to still do this?
The main thing I can find is facebook's own registration form and you have to give them your URL, so I don't see that going over well...
I'm reasonably sure that Facebook changed their API for this sort of thing a while ago, meaning that you'd have to get users to log into your site with Facebook before you could access that info - which I'm guessing would be a no-no.
Not an expert, though, so others may have a better idea!
