Beginners Dilemma : Facebook or POF (7)
Hi There,
I am pretty new to the paid traffic scene. And brand new to this forum.
My intent is to laser focus on one traffic source and one demographic.
My goal is to start a follow along campaign on the this forum, with the one traffic source and just keep on plugin away until I manage to to nail it.
With respect to demographic I know I want to target 40-50 y/o moms. I want to get to know her, get in side her heads and really figure out how she thinks.
Now for the traffic source I am still unsure which would be the best platform to learn on. I have heard both POF and Facebook are great, and I am sure either one could work great, but I wanted to hear from any of you which one you guys would suggest to focus giving me the best chance of success.

In short - POF is a lot friendlier than Facebook right now. Facebook has potential, but they're extremely ban-happy, which can put an end to your efforts very quickly and unfairly - POF, on the other hand, go out of their way to work with affiliates.
Yeah amen to Caurmen, so many people start with Facebook, get something profitable and push the boundaries of whats allowed on Facebook, boom their account is banned and the motivation dips beyond low and they get burned out thinking they can never make anything work again haha.
If you do go the FB route, I would try and learn a way to keep accounts or how to have a fresh supply of future accounts because the chances of losing your account at some point in time is almost certain haha. POF on the other hand, although not as simple to get profitable as it used to be, is still a GREAT place to learn affiliate marketing basics. It teaches you tracking, split testing, targeting, bid adjusting its probably "THE" best noobies go to source 
... and YES you can still make money on POF, I recently began messing around with some shit there and there is definitely potential. I will do a new case study/follow along on POF very shortly
I would start with FB and play by the rules.
When you find high CTR image, its very easy to scale to other countries.
If you get banned, start with POF
Starting with POF will keep your faith in humanity longer. Facebook will make you want to take a dog out back and shoot it.
