Tracking for mobile popunders?
Hey guys,
So I'm about to dive in the wonderful world of mobile popunders, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with this with a tracking solution like iMobiTrax? Can it handle volumes like 1mil pops / day? I sent an e-mail to support already but no answer.
Any other tracking solution which is better?
I know a lot of it also comes down to what kind of server you have, but that's no problem here.

Well if you feel comfortable with having your tracker and stuff hosted on a third party server, you should consider Mobaff tracker. As far as I know these guys spent a lot of time on their infrastructure so handling 1m/day shouldn't be an issue. It's better for you to contact them and show your concerns and I believe they will handle it for you.

I do well over 1 mill pops a day on 202 with the STM mobile set up. It's your server that you need to invest in.

How often do you dump your data?
I find that pulling reports at volumes over a million a day are an issue....unless your running a special server setup or dumping your db very quickly

Ya that's always a pain in the ass so you have to make sure you optimize it once you have the sufficient data. I find it difficult doing a weekly day parting running millions of clicks/day on p202.
Pain in the ass in deed.

Have you received an answer from them?

Yes, they said that with the right server tweaks it would work. I ended up using STM mobile tracker and it works without any problems.

They're known for running campaigns internally

Now it's up to you to decide if you want your good campaigns to be stolen or not..

Greenpointads...
I don't like to post bad things about networks but from my experience they are scumbags. (just my opinion and I've only spend about $2k with them)
They WILL take your campaigns if they work. There's now way in the world you can compete with your ad network. Period.

I always tend to skip ad networks that tend to run internally.
No matter how honest they are , its' very tempting so see campaigns that make $xx,xxx per day and not copy them when you have all the details.
