I’m working on an email list in the dating niche (how to pick up women etc.) in which I’m going to promote affiliate products. I’m about to set up a squeeze page, but wondering where I would get the highest converting traffic from. Google? Yahoo/Bing? Or Facebook?
I have some decent experience with facebook advertising but haven't tried anything other than that.
Do you guys have any tips or experience with getting paid traffic in the dating niche that you would like to share?
Man, there is more traffic than you can fathom for dating. Take a few hours to read through some threads. It'll pay off big time.
An obvious place to start would be Plenty Of Fish, the free dating site. Here's a link to the master list of POF Guides on STM.
Alternatively, I've had success promoting something like that using Google Adwords in the past (just make sure you've got a legit-looking site with more content than just your squeeze page). Adult traffic would work too - see this thread, which offers some more thoughts on traffic sources (most of which would be appropriate for you, although mobile might be trickier).
And if you get going with this, if you start a Follow-Along Campaign I suspect you'll get a whole load of useful advice and tips!
Depends on what countries you're trying to target. With PoF, US/UK/CA/AU campaigns are outstanding. With FB, any non-english-speaking country is golden (France and Germany especially)
