Got a call from a bing rep about one of those "I've been assigned to help boost your improvement, etc". Been spending 6 figs/yr last couple years on this account so they're probably just trying to get more spend out of me.
Back when I did agency work, I'd call them back without hesitation. Ideas for more volume? great.
However, I'm running some affiliate campaigns in here. Products are fine - not worried about a ban there. I"m just concerned they may see some liberties I've taken with the Bing ads system in terms of getting more traffic. Nothing that violates TOS - just things I don't think they like & don't want to risk them tearing down a campaign or 2.
I'm sure you guys get these calls - as affiliates, do you bother calling them back? I know with adwords, those calls were always a joke as they gave really awful advice or I was either never spending enough to get a shady enough rep who would slip me some good info. Like I said, only thing holding me back is if these reps would also be looking through an account like "hmm... maybe we shouldn't be doing this or that".
Just being honest here, I wouldn't tell them JACK FUCKING SHIT.
Those guys are monkeys screwing with your campaigns. Let em go fuck a camel or something. Seriously. Who cares. Unless they actually offer up good advice which sounds really unlikely.
Never been in that situation but based on what you said...that's how I'd handle it.
