Hey Guys....Can you tell me if there is a way to hide your landers from advertisers? Im not running anything against their tos but i found a high converting lander. So obviously i want to protect it anyway i can. Also what is the possibility of them attempting to steal it? I know anyone can rip a lander but i wonder if the advertiser has a back door from the leads. Anyway would like you big dogs to give me your insight.
Hide the referrer - P202 and CPVLab both have this functionality, with CPVLab using an old school DMR refresh and Prosper doing things a little differently. The ADVERTISER link is reached after your CPA network link, which, if SSL, will delete the referrer as this is required by the SSL standard (though you will still want to hide your LP from the CPA network, so using "cloaking" in terms of hiding the referrer is a necessity). If going direct, you better hope none of your shit leaks at all - DMR isn't 100%, neither is Prosper's double redirect. You will need to SSL your tracking domain and test redirects in every browser variation to ensure it's a leak-proof setup.
Advertisers will of course attempt to steal your shit if it backs out for them and they can cut you out of the equation. Don't give anybody an inch.
This kind of thing is also a nice thing to have http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...hlight=zealous
Set your landing page up to make money off people who rip your lander.
I got this free app that you can drop your files in and it puts out an obfuscated version.

I know they could still rip the thing but would make it harder to edit it with their links. I think it would add an extra layer of protection against lazy affs.
Does anyone have any experience with obfuscation? Are there any cons I might be missing?
The thing is that most affiliate / advertisers are lazy so they will just copy/paste the lander.
So if you pay someone at Odesk to modify let's say jquery slightly so it redirects a part of traffic you will get paid "tax" for your creativity
You can also use those 'rule codes' where the lander won't load unless its the specific carrier/handset/geo, and if its wrong you can redirect to a similar page that they 'think' is your lander haha and get puzzled why that shit never works for them

That is legit golden in Adult WAP as prying eyes are everywhere
Yup, and if redirecting using PHP it's simply not possible to dodge without actually changing your device (assuming it's not a simple user-agent lookup).
