So maybe you guys can chime in on when a good time to switch from Lead Gen to CPS? Or do some of you guys just stay with lead gen and never go cps?

if your CPL traffic generates a high amount of sales after the initial lead there is a good chance that you can make more revenue (and more stable if you have volume) with a cps model. why don't you sent 50%/30% of your traffic to a cps offer to find out? thats the only way to answer your question.
Mobile Adult dating
adult traffic isn't the most stable traffic out there..BUT if you do a good presell and deliver quality you could make more with a CPS offer...plus there isn't much scrubbing with cps stuff "usually" because there isn't much risk (unless it's a shady supplement :-)) for the offer owner. try it.
C2M has run some adult CPS in the past and here's my two cents. If you're paying for traffic, I would be cautious. The problem with adult CPS is that it's difficult to optimize. You don't have any control over what happens after the user creates an account. You also won't get an immediate return because the user does not immediately make a purchase. It could take a few days or even week or two for the user to buy something, and until that point you won't see any return on your traffic.
If you're buying your mobile display traffic, I would suggest sticking to lead gen. But if you have your own site or something, split testing a CPS is not a bad idea.
