Hello everyone,
Another noob here jumping into mobile. Started affiliate marketing few months ago and here is my follow along hoping and learn as i go along, seek for advice from you fellow AM's out here on the forum and hopefully inspire any noobs like me out there.
I don't know HTML, or any programing so i completely shit at techy stuff that's i bought Lynda.com subscription. They are really good and i will be learning as i go along.
I am using Bannersnack & Photoshop for making my banners.
I decided to start with mobile and focus on gaming niche. I chose gaming bc i hear u can direct link with them for a start and later if it goes well build landing pages (so that i have some time to learn a bit of coding and mobile landing page design.
I stick with two traffic sources until i understand them to a T and one country (Spain) so my strategy for now is:
-Two traffic sources (mobfox) +1(don't know yet.
-One country (Spain).
-One market (Gaming).
That's the plan any advice is welcome:
Starting out with two banners, one campaign divided into
1 targeting iphone
2 targeting android.
Banners;
Set up My tracking (Imobitrax).
I don't know if i am missing something but thats it for now.

I tihnk you have a perfect plan. Sticking to 2 traffic sources is perfect!
For a 2nd traffic source i'd recommend Inmobi or Adiquity. Both have lots of volume to scale, and are friendly to affiliates.
2 things you should do to expand your possibilities of success:
1. Test MORE banners, make the banners more amatuer looking. Try ones made on paint etc..
2. Try 1 more country (ask an AM for a top offer in another country)
Doing your current plan +1/2 above will keep you busy for testing for a while until you crack something

How does one see the offer mobile landing. I am based in London running an offer for Spain..?
Also been wordering which of this two is easier and quicker to master
-Mobile Gaming
-Mobile dating
I just need something that will get me going and as we all know early success is a huge motivator while i learn.
I just have a feeling dating will be quicker to master than gaming...?

Regarding offer pages: use a VPN provider, hidemyass / overplay VPN pretty much do the job if it's just country restricted. Some offers, like binbit, require a certain carrier for the lander to be displayed properly due to 1 click conversion and header billing, if it's like that, you can't do much about it unless you have access to that carrier.
I'm not a mobile expert at all, but I'd guess it's quite similar in terms of difficulty. It's most important to chose one vertical at the very beginning, that's your bread and butter. But not 100% sure so maybe some of the mobile experienced guys jumps in !
