Traffic Source Spending Reports in CPVLab!!!

Hey Fellas,

How often do you upload the spending reports from the traffic source? Everyday, week, month?

How does this shit work? Creating templates and all that?

Im sticking with Exoclik for now until i learn, so if someone can give me some tips on how to use this featuer to accurately track my spend that would be awesome.

Also, is there any other data you can glean from these reports aside from spend? Does CPVlab track everything else through the campaign link?

I use a spreadsheet with all incoming / outgoing transactions from my bank account(s) and credit card(s) to keep an overview of profit/loss. For daily spend, I use another spreadsheet where I enter what I spent on what source.

By using these two instead of one spreadsheet, personally I see a big advantage in being easily able to separate real profit / loss to daily spendings. Making a deposit of let's say $1.000 to Exo or TJ isn't a loss until you spent it and have $0 back, while looking at your bank account it's a payment that deducts the amount from your balance.

Put in a nutshell:
Spreadsheet 1: incoming / outgoing transfers on bank account
Spreadsheet 2: daily spendings / daily incomes on sources and aff networks

Doesnt that kind of defeat the purpose of CPVLab? I thought it helped you track your ROI down to the banner ad/LP... That means calculating ROI manually, doesnt it?

How would you track your overall CPM spending and eCPM?

You can still pretty easily track banner / LP combos just by the conversions / CTR you see. Also you can manually calculate or just get the avg. data from the networks (most networks show you avg. CPC etc. per creative) for your campaigns. For myself, I use the spreadsheets as I can forward them directly to my accountant so it saves me a lot of work, headache and costs.

In the end it all comes down to CPC / EPC which is quite easy to overview even without including all data in CPVLab. Especially starting out, personally I feel the time you spent on editing those values into CPVLab could be better invested in time developing your campaign / creating new campaigns and all that stuff. I mean it's not hard to open 2 browsers next to each other, compare your earnings and spents from CPVLab to Exo/TJ spent and make your decision - at least not starting out on smaller volume.
