Hey, so when you are running an angle on POF - say Date an athletic chic - what offers do you link to.
Would the following work, or would I need to find an offer targeted toward athletic girls/guys (iv already asked my AM and he says they dont have any offers like that).
POF - Date an athletic chic
Landing page - All the great features about dating an athletic chic
Offer - Mate1 standard female sign up page
Would that work?
a) Focus on finding a solid offer first. The best angles and landing pages can't make up for a really shitty offer.
b) Split test angles via creatives. Athletic chicks vs. older woman vs. single mom vs. fat chicks etc. Your goal at this point is to mainly see what ads "stick" CTR wise. Don't fall in love with an angle. I make decisions with DATA. You can use a generic lander at this point or direct link, the focus now is finding the best angle asap.
c) Which lander performed the best? Say it's athletic chicks. Then I would create a landing page that is athletic chicks oriented. This isn't really a "niche" so you can send it to a generic offer. What if fat chicks won? I would focus on finding the best fat chicks offer. If older woman won? There are plenty of offers that are older woman oriented.
Let's say your older woman angle is the best, it's time to really master this angle. Split test 50+ creatives (focus on images and headlines), 5+ landing pages, 5+ offers, experiment with the demographic targeting, etc. The goal is to keep improving everything ON A DAILY BASIS.
Listen to my advice.
