TIL. Seems pretty blatantly shady, though.

Is there a collection of information on non-obvious things that could land you in legal trouble? Fake news landers, medical claims, etc.

They just want to pick on someone to 'try' to get a message out there to stop it. It's not going to work though.

I think they are going the completely wrong way about it, shouldn't they be targeting Ebay as they didn't monitor their employees sufficiently?
I think that before they try to enforce random things they should sort the core issues first. The core issues being ownership on the internet and advertising. But nobody can sort these things as it passes from country to country, there's no chance everyone's going to agree on one set of 'laws'- most are set by America at the moment, but still, America cannot govern the entire internet without support.(tell me if I'm wrong...)

yeah but look how much that guy made.. he should've stopped when he made some good money, he made wayyy too much. anyone suggest doing this still

The essense of Cookie Stuffing and other blackhat stuff is to be SUBTLE, UNDER the radar. Clearly he got greedy, and forgot this #1 rule of his career...
