recently tried motime and tplay for the first time since early 2011. running on all the usiual suspects jumptap, inmobi etc. is it just me or these offers do not convert for shit anymore i'm getting like .02 to .03 epc everywhere i test
anybody still converting these offers and doung volume like 300 leads/day. any tips?
Nonono they convert still! Just with specific carriers.
Both Motime & Thumbplay have TMO and AT&T offers. The tmo offers convert best for both!
1. Only run the offer for the specific carriers (this is half the battle)
2. Motime is best with Android, and Thumbplay is good with all handsets
3. The offers are a bit played out, so at this point I'd recommend an angle even though DL works good with these types of offers (but mainly when theyre new). Doesn't have to be anything ludacris, just something original. Split test a landing page, how well a lander works for ringtones really depends on your angle
4. Dive into some less common traffic sources, you'll have a very hard time getting it working on Jumptap etc...

A very important thing is to look for cheap traffic sources if you don't want to waste time on micro optimizing the campaign.
There is a LOT of unsold inventory for mobile , do some research and you can rape this kind of offers.
Ringtones are still killing it, it's just a bit tricker than it used to be to say the least.
