Hi Guys. I have been running some campaigns on Reporo and the volume of traffic is very low. I mean only getting 30-60 clicks her day. Does anyone run traffic on Reporo and what do you guys think of the volume? Is it due to minimum bid maybe. Bidding .08 US. Any inputs would be appreciated.
Whats your targetting bro? Thats a huge bid for Reporo even in US, I never pay more than 0.03c with them and get good volume.
Also whats your CTR like as this affects delivery even with cpc - you wanna be around 1%ctr or more for your whole campaign ideally.
targeting meaning? 0.03? My rep says that anything less than 0.08 there wont be any traffic? Wow, 0.03c for US traffic is amazing.
Targeting like are you for example are you just showing your ads on smartphones or maybe only to carriers and not wifi?
I know that they have a lot of unsold feature phone traffic in the US so if your campaign is aimed at all handsets you should be seeing more traffic.
just hitting Android and Iphone. Thought that would be the majority of US traffic anyway
Ok bro, next step is to raise your ctr. You are up against some big players if you are just hitting smartphones in the US so the way to get the traffic is through your ctr.
As I mentioned before even though you are paying cpc having a higher ctr gets you more impressions.
Not sure if your campaign is dating or videos but personally I've always struggled with dating and US reporo traffic anyway, video offers on the other hand work well.
thanks urbanleaf. Greatly appreciate your input
I've had some success with Reporo, but it's frustrated the hell out of me lately.
Getting CTR up is easy, but only if I hit the right sites. I haven't yet worked out what makes some banners appear on some sites, and other banners only get what I class as junk traffic (and this is banners in the same campaign).
I've had CTRs of 1%+ because that banner is being shown on specific, good converting sites, and yet if I create the exact same campaign with the same banner(s), they get shown on other sites and the CTR is shit.
They do have a LOT of volume if you hit it right, but imho that just seems down to luck.
For example, I created a quick $50 test campaign for the US, just targeting Android and iPhone. CPC was set at 5c. I spent the budget in about 30 minutes, and ROI was great. However, when I increased the budget (on the same campaign), traffic started hitting different sites and CTR and conversions dropped to the point where it was nowhere near profitable.
I'd really like some Reporo expert to explain more.
Its NOT easy. CTR is your main battle to beat! Use the STM Adult spy and see whats hot, then hire someone and make it hotter!
Next make sure your targeting the right carriers, is your campaign carrier specific?
About 10'ish, based on which works out of those i'll add more similar ones and re-test.
I've kind of seen similar CTRs on the banners, depends on country usually it seems. It will always been different though depending on what you're promoting etc.
Also US is absolute hell, i don't run with US (atleast now).
Larger amouts of banners with good CTRs - 2,3,4 % in my case getting too many duplicated clicks , and campaign going to be unprofitable. How about prices in Reporo on US ? I also never pay more than 3 cpc ever in that company , now i have problems to keep campaigns , traffic volume. How about Yours rates on thier traffic ? I did promote dating on US for them, but stopped last time. US is hell i agree in this company at this moment. I know they changing algorithm , bid is more weightant now than in past , at this moment more than eCPM as i see.
