I'm currently using Wistia, very easy to use but a bit too expensive. So I'm switching back to Amazon S3, which is little more challenging to use but cheaper.
Any recommendations?
Why not just Youtube and something like SublimeVideo?
Youtube has links in the video, which makes users click out and the videos can be taken down without warning. I'll give sublime a look
I like Vimeo Pro, personally. That's mostly because of my unique use case - I need pro hosting that can take a LOT of views, into the millions, without costing me a fortune - but they have excellent video encoding, decent features including postroll links etc, and are generally cool people. Their in-video link features aren't as extensive as Wistia, but they're a lot cheaper.
I agree on the takedown issue - I don't trust important videos anywhere where the primary business model isn't "I pay them, they host my videos"
Thanks Caurmen, video hosting is so much more expensive than I thought, especially when you start pushing volume! I'm going to split test with Vimeo
