You see us preach all the time about not just simply copying and pasting ripped campaigns, but modifying them to make them even better with your own unique twist. Its a surefire way to add some serious profits on droned out ripped to death campaigns, and it really is a simple to do, just be creative. Leave your laziness for the couch!

You guys might have noticed the new placement that came on Exoclick maybe a month ago? Mypornmotion.com its one of the largest french porn sites in the world, but its not new, no boys its not. 6 Months ago I was browsing around looking for some unseen porn sites that I could buy a direct place on and I stumbled across this bad beast. After translating the site into English I noticed "advertisement" tab on the bottom. A quick scope of the site on a french proxy showed no affiliates so it was PLAYBALL!

I got in contact with the rep at mypornmotion and bought 70% of the traffic under a direct buy as I knew there were plenty of offers out there for France, Amissexy, Benaughty and Soi Secret to name 3 of the best

Best thing about direct buys? The dirty cheap cpms. 15-20 cent cpm's made this campaign a shoe in for profits, but I wanted to test how much variation in pages can add to your ROI.

I'm sure you've all seen this lander, but I blurred it out to respect the original owner.



So I decided to change it up, by changing the larger image, changing background colour, changing text and then trialling adding some more pics on the site and after 10-15 variations I came up with this one

Now I am aware it could be even better, but with the ridicuously cheap cpm's it was already churning 300-400%ROI instead of the 175% ROI from the original lander.



What I learned?
Matching the background colour to the site colour improved CTR
Mature women smash younger women
One big pic, couple small pics worked 3/4 times I trialled.
Keeping it simple always does wonderssssss

I then took a well known tried and true banner style, and found some pictures on thechive.net, and I tried some really weird combinations but these are the best 4 of the 50+ I tested. I am really however, concerned why men like girls doing washing XD






All in all this campaign was majorly profitable and practically set and forget for a good amount of time, the placements have now been completely bought out by Exoclick so if anyone wants to give France a try I highly suggest this placement as the quality is tremendous according to advertisers as well.

I hope you people learned how important modifying pages are instead of ripping, ripping will get you no where and just hating on affiliate marketing, be your own person be unique and try more things. Sure its ok to use other pages as inspiration but don't just straight rip, its (N). Also there are 1000's of unmonetized porn sites out there begging for your direct buys, so don't be restricted so simply using the more saturated ad networks out there, sure the work looking for these sites is consuming but the ROI's and longevity of the campaigns are extraordinary!

It seriously pays to test guys!

Hey bro, no I'm ghetto as haha I just email the rep the ads I want and the links associated then they uploaded and I told them which ones I wanted to keep going, I guess an adserver would be a huge upgrade but I'm way to untech to do it myself XD

How was the quality on these? I notice your creatives on the banners would typically result in lower quality, although for your lander, can't see the girls enough to measure. I did see you mentioned mature crushed the hotter younger ones, so maybe that wasn't the last iteration of your creatives, but yea anyway just curious

I've ran the same banners on other networks and had bad quality, its the website itself, I don't know why but the advertiser loved every lead I could send from this pornsite. Mature trumped in terms of CTR and Conversion on the lander itself, they seemed to die out faster on the banners I was running the laundry girl worked the best then spotty pants haha

Imitate, then Innovate.

I copy landers all the time to do a quick test. If the campaign shows potential, then I will test the shit out that landing page and make it even better. Headlines, images, call to action, copy, background images, colors, etc.

Just copy & pasting campaigns makes you a traffic arbitrager, not a marketer.

@dr_ngo - totally agreed. Just straight-out ripping LPs looks like easy money, but it's actually, IMO, harder work to make cash out of than being a bit more creative.

On the other hand, using an LP that you know works as a starting point can save a lot of time narrowing down the problem space.
