Cloudflare on tracking server?

Hey Guys,

Would you use cloudflare on your tracking server domain? Or would it make your traffic slow?

What do you mean exactly? Do you mean using the Cloudflare CDN with a subdomain like cdn.trackingdomain.com? Because that's just an address at the DNS level that then points elsewhere and won't impact your server. Or do you mean trying to increase tracking speed somehow using the Cloudflare optimiser stuff? Because that aint going to do anything beneficial for something like CPVlab/Tracking202. Lastly, if you mean using the optimiser service on landers that happen to be hosted under your tracking domain, well, I'm not sure what impacts that will have other than normal server load from lander traffic, but it's daft to host landers on the same domain as what you use for tracking.

No, i mean it just tells me to update my nameservers to go through their servers.... Even though im hosted at beyond... Will that slow my site down?

What are you trying to do with Cloudflare? Are you trying to use it as a CDN for your landing pages?

Personally I'd be a bit cautious about using Cloudflare with any affiliate stuff - they've got some very enthusiastic anti-spam technology that sometimes bans genuine visitors. Not usually a huge problem, but with an affiliate campaign where you're getting random traffic and paying for it, yikes.
