Best way to test p202 redirect speed + offer speed?

What is the best way to test p202 redirect speed + offer speed? Specifically in different parts of the world. What kind of tools do you guys use to test this?

Cheers!

I wrote a tutorial a while ago which includes details on how to check your Prosper speed (and some additional suggestions by Mr Baffoe, maintainer of Prosper 202): Check Whether Your Server Can Handle Your Traffic. That should be exactly what you need - the tool I suggest there, Blitz.io, has a bunch of international locations.

As for offer load times, I'd recommend tools.pingdom.com - but other standard web page load testers will work too! If you need something international, www.uptrends.org has a bunch of useful free tools that will check from all over the world.

If you have any problems, reply here and I'll sort 'em out!

Hmmm my VPS at BH is quite a lot slower than one of my random reseller hosting packages in the following categories:
- first byte time (F)
- keep alive enabled (B)

I'm on the cheapest package at BH now is there any way to see what kind of effect a more expensive package would have?

To be honest, I wouldn't be too worried about those categories - just look at overall load time, and whether it spikes with heavy traffic on the server.

Ok, yeah overall load time is longer as well. I think it is due to the first byte time (0.7 at BH vs 0.3 at my reseller hosting).

yeah if your seeing issues on the lower package at BH get upgraded bro. I think I use their middle package and our server is solid!

Don't get me wrong they always seem to be online, it's just that the tests show that the first byte takes long. Can you perhaps check the rating for this test on your middle package?

From a server in the Netherlands?

Ah - if you're testing load times across the Atlantic from the Netherlands, a server in Europe will almost always be faster than a server in the US.

Ah ok, so how do the big guys do it then. Just have different servers in different locations? So if I start a campaign targeting the US, use my beyond hosting server, but if I do a euro campaign, get a new server in Europe?
