Can a noob do coreg?
I'm wondering because, as a noob, I have been reading threads in different topics (such as coreg, pof, ppv, media buying...), just to have some sort of understanding of them. And coreg stood out more than others. I understand coreg is complex and was wondering if anyone recommends that I, a noob, take my first online venture into the coreg field, or do you guys advise going another route?
I guess what I'm asking is...is coreg too advanced for a beginner?
I wouldn't start with coreg. Requires a bit more knowledge and the heyday has passed, as far as what you'd be doing as a new affiliate. The hot topics these days are mobile and adult, you'd do well to look at the adult case studies from February here on STM for basics.
For me coreg always made more sense. I could create my own angle instead of trying to twist an idea into an email submit that doesn't really relate. The initial setup of coreg can be a bit complex but the sticky posts will get you through that. If you have no experience with creating landers / coding then I might get a little comfortable with that first. The great thing about coreg is that once you have the code and tracking working properly, then you just copy and paste to any new idea you have.
Agreed with Brianb, definitely start out in a vertical such as adult or mobile. There's huge potential to scale and the barrier for entry is much lower!
