How to get traffic from google adwords?

Hey STM'ers
I'm learning to use google adwords to get quality traffic(google keywords,not display),For Sweepstake offer(win iphone5).I used keywords like:games, game online,etc.
but the keywords too expensive.Some keywords QS 10/10,and bid $1,is still unable get traffic.my question is how to get traffic from google adwords,and why my ads unable to display?My offer country is I.E.

Google will not approve sweeps. If you try too many times, you will get perma-banned

You're going to have to be a lot more creative with your keyword selection. Perhaps you can use something like keyword spy or spyfu to get a few ideas on the types of keywords you should be using.
