Disabled my account when I uploaded 20 ads (power editor) without chosing gender (26)

Disabled my account when I uploaded

Will they send an email stating they disabled my account?

Looking for a link to reply to them.

I don't get what you are asking. Are you disabled or not? Uploading 20 ads doesn't trigger any type of account fraud filters or anything. Something else definitely did. if you want to reply to them, use the link you get when you access your ads manager.

In the regular non power editor where is the link to message FB? Thank you.

ya, that happens.

also, make sure you don't submit banned images/keywords/URLs.

Now they ban accounts even without ever getting to approval, disapproval or running of the ads.

Just mere submission of ads can result in a ban.

Did you by any chance start with a fresh account by uploading dating ads...

04-01-2013 02:40 AM #7 sandyone (Member)

yes Old account but never ran ads on it.

anyhow it means you're fucked. uploading 20 ads without gender on a dating vertical? bad move. you should've known.

^^

Exactly. It doesn't matter if your ads were never approved or ran, they just threw you into the same group of affiliates that will attempt to break their guidance. They do not have patience for that anymore.

I'll see if I can get it back , if not I shall roll onto the next traffic source such as POF.

go easy on the account at first. no more than 5 CLEAN ads until they've billed you at least once. ALL accounts get disabled on submitting the first ad and adding a credit card unless they are aged 4-8 weeks. just answer the questions and submit your id and you should be fine...just reread your post. I've never seen that error before. what happens if you log out. log back in then click the link? same message?

Hi modest

Yeah I log out and back in and still the weird loop.

I think its best to keep every account on different ip and os . That is my experience .

04-01-2013 01:09 PM #14 vipinext (Member)

yeah I have also haven't sen this error yet. Filling the form and submitting ID is the only way..

04-01-2013 04:25 PM #15 2modest (Member)

I use different IPs and different VM for every account. Not because i know it has to be that way with FB, but from my previous experiences with google and craigslist. I just learned to make it habit.

04-01-2013 07:26 PM #16 sandyone (Member)

No form to fill out as all I get is a loop without any place to file anything.

hit me up at skype...

If your name is real, and you can submit your real ID, and the ip location you are in is near your real address. And the billing CC address fits this aswell, then you have a 10% chance you get your account back. Good luck.

from my experience

using powereditor = ban

dont know why. but pretty lame

04-03-2013 03:20 PM #20 2modest (Member)

you could be right, that doesn't make sense since fb links to it in the ads manager.

I've used power editor just about every day since December and I've been fine.

Maybe I'm just lucky though, who knows with Facebook

Right on. Perhaps they don't like it when certain ads are rolled in mass using the editor.

Do you use the power editor with dating campaigns?

04-04-2013 12:12 AM #23 sandyone (Member)

Oh well on to the next traffic sources

04-04-2013 12:14 AM #24 xerocool (Member)

Power Editor has nothing to do with your ban, lol

Correct.

Yeah I have been using power editor and I have been safe so far, so I do not think that is the reason for your ban.
