Hi,
I dont know how can it be but i can't load any of Groupon links.
It blocks the domain Groupon.com.
Anyone can tell me what can be the reason for that?
THanks
Probably a direct relationship? Also, as far as I know, Groupon are VERY strict with compliance and I have never seen them allowing direct linking on Facebook. They have always required a bridge page. You should check the terms for running that offer.
Ya, seems to be no problems running their main competitor living social though
zeno ...Groupon did let some networks to run direct in the past.
Maynzie...Have the same problem with your links as well for Living social.
It is like FB is blocking it for my account but i know another 2 people that can run it.
I have tried to reach FB support about it...and it looks like they dont have a clue what is going on.
Any second thoughts?!
In the past yes, but things change. Not sure what the situation is now - have you been told explicitly that direct is OK? FB never knows whats going on, probably better to get your AM to talk to their Groupon rep. Also, are you direct linking to an affiliate link here or? You say you have a similar problem with Living Social so I would think the issue might by somewhere other than with the offer per se.
I can load Living social but just not through F5 links.
Groupon aint allowing me to load nothing but at the same time other people can.
Same problem i had with FB and NB Links ...some people couldnt load their offers while other (in a different zone) could.
I'm a bit confused by what you mean by FB 'blocking' your links. Are you getting ads that lead to a groupon.com end domain disapproved? Or when you put links into the advert builder are they doing something odd? I know FB does some crazy things with parsing links and changing them to your end destination sometimes when making ads directly via FB, is this occurring? Additionally, it sounds like you are putting in affiliate links as the advert URLs. This is a no-no and is bound to give you a lot of trouble and cause confusion - some of the links may be blacklisted by FB and the geo-redirection on them shoots you in the foot.
