Launching new product trying to buy authority symbols (6)
So I'm finally launching my own product job/employment niche and I'm trying to buy authority symbols. Can I advertise on a cnn,newsweek,la times. And use as authority symbol for the "AS Seen In"
Any suggestions?
I would use "As advertised" instead
(but you should ask a Lawyer for your peace of mind)
If you do a press release through a service like PRweb it will get syndicated to Yahoo news, SF Gate and a bunch of others.
Might want to take screen shots though, as they don't stay posted forever.

Having advertised on those sources doesnt mean you've got the rights to use their intellectual property. You would be allowed to say or write it (not always), but always would need explicit permission from those sources to use their IP on your commercial website. Which they pretty much always restrict or deny in their terms
