This is quite a good explanation of dealing with ripped content.

After speaking to someone on a popular ad network, the same goes for going after people ripping your banners. If you follow this path you could get ad networks to take down your banners if used by someone else.
Its quite a process and will probably not be worth it and since AM's usually just rip images from the web - there's really no leg to stand on.
dude i feel your pain.... like 5 million people ripped my squeeze page.
totally fucked up my #'s.
its internet marketing.
mofo's are lazy as fuck.
shit happens.
you just learn to keep yo mouth shut. :-)
Dconstrukt couldn't have said it better. Shit happens gotta learn to stay ahead of the copiers
ya since 99% of affiliate landing pages involve images that were ripped from the internet, there's no legal standing lol. I laugh at all these adult affs who put their watermark on it, sure some traffic sources will honor it for the big spenders, but from a legal stand point, the copyright claim, at least in regards to the copied image is laughable. Best thing you can do is just keep working. I think every single mid - high volume affiliate on here has had their "unique" landing pages / angles copied, and also copied other people's as well, it's just part of the game. There's no honor among thieves
It irritates me a little, but I understand the nature of the game so when my LPs get ripped, I accept it and move on. But when they don't remove the tracking information and mess up all of my stats, I get kind of mad =)
