This is rather cool - Akamai have a loading time tester specifically devoted to mobile.
Unfortunately they don't give details on what network they're using, or even whether it's 3g or Wifi. Annoyingly, it appears they took the tool over and rather crippled its functionality.
Regardless - handy tool, worth a look!
