Whatrunswhere is only one i have used. A lot of good info if you can justify the price.

WRW although what you see there is from wlan placements. Right now there is no public tool that has carriers included due to the difficulties involved as you'd need a sim to be able to browse carrier bound ads.

I've explained this before in another thread, but Mobile spying isn't possible when it comes to spying on carriers.
Simply put; there's too many carriers, phones and countries to do any proper spying so everything you see when it comes to mobile spying is on WIFI and a very high % of mobile advertisers don't advertise to WIFI.
Whatrunswhere is the best available IMO and it's purely wifi.

Thats the nice thing about mobile, and still one of the easiest niches to make money on, people cannot copy your LPs with carrier restrictions on, unless you have friend's in each country that you would want to target.

In app is on wifi correct - carrier specific has the issues you outlined but is something being worked on

What would the advantage of spying on specific carriers be? You could find what carriers are being targeted by other people's campaigns?

A lot of offers out there work better on carrier traffic, and some even only exclusive work on carrier traffic. Having a wifi only mobile spy tool is like having a Facebook spy tool limited to Males 20-40 yr/old.

Having no spy tool is like seeing nothing. Mobile is a developing market where carrier traffic definitely makes up a PART of it. There are advantages to both, Lorenzo is just bitter sometimes.

Hey mattaw, I don't think he was being bitter at all, just answering my question. I understand that wifi only is still very valuable. I was just curious about what the advantages were of seeing carrier traffic. He cleared it up for me.

I doubt that mate.
I on the other hand am bitter when my campaigns are stolen. Spy tools just plain hurt everybody.

Haha Max I'm not bitter, just stating the facts.
P.S. Are you still bitter at me for not sponsoring your boat building project :P?

VERY bitter, I want a boat sponsorship post haste Lorenzo.
To clarify: I was teasing Lorenzo not actually trying to insinuate anything.
Deon - create barriers to entry so you have something proprietary so your campaigns can't easily be stolen. The point of spy tools isn't to just copy and test, but leverage success into your own campaigns. Exclusive offers, placements, or technology all helps make this happen (a few examples).

Agree - my bitterness is not aimed at WRW. The Spytools that hurt the most are the ones that no-one knows about.
What you say is true, in theory, but the vast majority of people just rip stuff without making any changes at all.
Working with your traffic source is the best way to combat that but they are not all willing to do it. I've had 1 ad network who's been blocking ads that use my banners and landing page and it makes a BIG difference to the bottom line.
