Ok so im based in the US and i want to see a popular site as they see it in brazil so i can see competing ads for spying on competition. How do i do this? I also need to see it through dif mobile devices.
I know how to do it in the US but im expanding into foreign countries now and need this info. Any Help is always greatly appreciated fellas!
Have you tired using a proxy? so it makes it look like your coming from Brazil. I just checked my Hide My Ass proxy and they have a Brazil proxy. HMA is super cheap.
Then for mobile devices: User Agent Switcher Firefox add on allows you to change your browser default, eg you can change it so your viewing from an iPhone etc.
Well that's how I do my mobile spying at least
Use HideMyAss or any other VPN provider together with Firefox and the User Agent Switcher plugin. After you get the UAS plugin download this file with different useragents and import it. You should be set
Thanks Guys! Yeah i know about the proxies, hidemyass and user agents. I was curious if there was a simple free easy route. I guess not so i will have to get on it then. Unless anyone else knows something we dont? ??
Another question.....When using say hidemyass to view other countries sites as they see them. When i launch my campaign in say brazil....what will happen when they click my ad thrn go to my lander (hosted in US) ? will they see my lander? or will it get blocked by that country because of my landers IP. If so how do i fix this? I have direct linked foreign camps but not used landers like i need to with this campaign. Thx again
Free is to: search for free proxies on line and use a proxy plug in for FireFox, such as Proxylist and user agent switcher such as UserAgentSwitcher.
The country you host your lander in has no effect on whether anyone else can see it or not. The only reason a certain geo would be unable to see your lander is if you specifically blocked them.
The only problem with using HMA and a User Agent switcher is the fact that you still won't show up as being on a particular carrier. Most international campaigns only accept traffic from certain carriers, so you might still run into problems even if your IP is from Brazil and the User Agent is mobile.
