Questions regarding tracking domain and hosting (3)
Ok I currently got my prosper202 (or tracking 202, the self hosted version at least) set up on a random domain name I wasn't using anymore. On a reseller hosting I wasn't using anymore either.
So far it has worked fine, handling up to a 1000 clicks a day. However I think I might have to move to a better server if I want to try and scale up.
Any suggestions of a good host in the Netherlands?
And what do you guy use as a domain name for your tracking solution? Currently most of my ads are on Facebook, which doesn't matter since Facebook cloaks it anyway, but if I'd start with Sitescout people will see my link when hovering over it, just pick a domain name as short and random as possible?
BeyondHosting is what many here use for hosting.
Read the protect your nuts thread regarding careful naming ( don't use tee word tracking in a domain or prosper, etc ) and frequent changing of any domains ( keep spys at bay ) used for tracking purposes.
