Imobitrax losing clicks?

I just used the imobitrax for my mobie campaign tracking.

But i found that there are about 30% clicks losing every campaign.

And i attempted to pass the tokens to the landing page ,but no success, It seems that imobitrax can not pass the tokens to the landing page.

I used the cpvlab to track my web campagin, and in the setting page of cpvlab, we can choose pass the tokens to lp or offers, but in imobitrax, i can not choose

Anybody that are using imobitrax can help me ,thanks.

In the screenshot , i set the link all to the lp , there are 300+ clicks, but only 250 To lp. the clicks losing are terrible

iMobiTrax tracks incoming mobile clicks and executes in php dude. Meaning, the click loss is coming from the traffic side or your server setup. As for click loss, 10-30% is common in mobile.

Also, you apparently didn't read the user guide? It specifically shows you how to pass tokens in lp's in offers.
Go to the iMobiTrax user guide to advanced features, it's all right there.

ad >> network >> sends to imobi >> imobi recieves and records the click >> if lander, sends to lander >> lander has a callback either with the tracking pixel (if cookies) or directly in the tracking include if server if the phone doesn't like cookies, might not see a view.

Most of the time, it is just plain old latency. More latency if lander on a different domain because the user's browser has to go through a whole new round of dns lookup, waiting on the server and then redirect.

And if they on anything less than 4g, that could take anywhere from 5-20 seconds depending on the network so people dont wait. Back button, exit., bye, bye, do not pass go....

There are two main cuases for click discrepencies in mobile.

1) Slow sites - Most people will wait ~3 secs for a mobile site to load. If your tracker, or the networks tracker, or the advertisers page are moving too slow...you're gonna miss out on a lot of clicks.
2) Accidental clicks - This is the big one. Something like 45% of mobile ad clicks are accidental. Someone is playing a game or using an app...they try to interact with it, and click a banner instead. A website pops up over their page, they get annoyed, and close it out. You just paid for that click even though it probably won't show up in your stats.

The ad server has no way of knowing if the person ends up on your page, or if they meant to click the banner. It just knows that someone clicked the link that it served up. It's a very real problem in mobile marketing, and a handful of networks actually have confirmation clicks as a selling point.

Your best bet would be to test the latency of the links that you are using and make sure that everything is loading quickly. If that's not the problem...you might just be getting an influx of accidental clicks.

& also consider you're getting click loss if you're targeting

3) slow data connections (e.g. more-rural areas, less-developed countries)
4) through brokered traffic. Many if not most of the mobile networks are selling brokered traffic. Every extra hop in the process = more latency.

Before you complain about click losses, look at your own setup first.

- What's server you have? VPS, dedicated ? Server specs?
- What's your mobile site size? Do you have a lot of scripts / images?
- Are you using CDN?

Echoing what everyone else has said - I'd definitely recommend testing the loading speed of your lander, and also testing it under load (see my load testing guide) to see if there are any problems there.

You may also want to test loading time using Akimai's new mobile loading time tester, as that might pick up further problems.
