Hey guys, I am Chintan Shah. I am 19 year old. Have been in IM 4 years, Actually making money since a year and a half.
I have been very late to the follow Along. I don't even know if entries are accepted into the follow along. So If I can, please accept this and my entry with sincere apologies.
However I will try to give my best and make this truly epic.
For those of you who don't know me, know I do adult a lot. In fact, in my AM career I have made most my money from adult marketing and due to college and stuff didn't get time to start this follow along. I started keeping this in my wunderlist (It is epic and very productive for those of you who are as lazy as I am- https://www.wunderlist.com/ )
GOAL : 500$ A day + macbook air 13" (Yeah, baby I am taking it :P )
Traffic Source: Trafficfactory, TJ, *One Secret Source* (Will reveal when I actually start using it.
OFFER : Ads4sex (US, AU, CA ) SOI 4.2 PPL and DOI 5.5 PPL, cutehookup and DOI
(Ya, I split test like crazy.)
Budget: 100$ A Day for now.
Tracking : CPVLAB (It's made me a lot of money, period )
The main part of my campaign will be:
1. Setting up campaign (Starting from Spying)
2. Optimisation (I either royally fuck up or I make it very large )
3. Scaling the offer
4. Tracking
5. Most IMP : KEEPING QUALITY. NOT GETTING KICKED OFF FROM THE OFFER.
From my experience adult is a very volatile market, there is so much money to be made and it's such a hungry market that in order to get leads affiliates screw up on quality.
Never Ever mention "FREE" on your creatives or "NO CC Required" because in the adult vertical you will be straightaway asked to stop the traffic and trust me when you are fully optimised for an offer after spending 500$ in RED, you won't like the feeling. I have been there. I have tried everything.
My goal is to really increase conversion rates for the advertiser because if the advertiser is happy, you have no idea what all is possible.
I will try my best to help everyone in this area in this thread.
Now on to the main stuff:
1 HOW DO I SETUP A CAMPAIGN :
REMEMBER THIS ALWAYS : Don't be in the notion that using spy tools, you will be able to be a millionaire affiliate or be on your way to financial freedom.
Spy tools are good for people who already have their own thing going and are not willing to start the cycle again.
I am using spy tools because a) no time b)seriously rather than starting the whole cycle again, I am going to improve on what;s working and you will see the difference in my working as we move forward.
Now I don't use any spy "service". I take the hard route, I fire up my VPN and visit actual porn sites and click on ads and follow them.
Why do I do this?
-I dont want to spend 200$ a month on something that is so simple. I have struggled very hard to make money and I don't want to throw it around.
- I want to see fresh ads, not even what is a week old.
I use the same lander that I download, however I always change the age to 25+ (Remember the quality control point for advertiser )
I always do this : I max out the number of ads allowed in a campaign when starting out. 20 is the number in trafficfactory.
I divide that number by 5 and I get FOUR: I use 4 landers to split test.
So Now I am testing 20 banners and 4 Landers.
3 lander are Usual RULES lander and 1 lander is something I came up with, I don't know how well it will work. I myself love the idea. I will be saving craigslist page and using an ad on w4m as a landing page..
Then as for campaign creation, I always split on country. Believe me, every country shows different results, so DO NOT take this for granted.
In trafficFactory, you have only 1 placement when you select "square", however ALWAYS TRACK BANNER and CATEGORIES.
Also remember this: TrafficFactory's size is 338 x 235 ( Unlike the traditional 300x250 ). I use photoshop actions to resize my banners.

BTW, I am thinking of getting LPGenius. I really need it to split test properly. As I told you, I am a split test FREAK and I can't survive without split testing. Has anyone tried it? How is it?

If you believe in Split Testing, you should get this running right away.
It's way easier than testing completely new landing pages all the time. You will kick yourself for waiting so long to get it.

Now this is what I have created on my own :
I have used GEOLOCATION SCRIPT TO Make the user feel like he is in his local CL. To be safe have spelled CL as
"criglist"
Have mentioned advertorial at the top too.

I had to say this because no one seemed to notice it. I have tried to give a tip on how to get laid. It should feel like Ya this dude makes sense when a guy visits my lander. This ensures quality leads for advertisers.
I saw that, though I think only test data will tell if it makes a difference or not. I wouldn't go as far as saying giving a tip about getting laid ensures quality on the backend. I do like the addition though, also the FACT: bit.
It surely does, I have ran a lot of traffic, tested everything. Giving a tip really increases conversions in the backend. Like I said, it should be like "Yeah, this dude makes sense". I have a lot of data to strongly believe it increases conversions.

As I said I have not paid for spy tools but I browse sites and I select banners, always try and keep banners relevant to the offer and banner, because a great CTR doesnt guarantee conversions.
It's like this : Think like a user, click like the user and think about joining the site. Do you feel like it?
TIP : Right now I have not utilized it myself, but when you visit porn sites, take note of interesting video titles. These can be a great adcopy.

CANADA is the only campaign that is active right now. AU and US are getting tanked.

Optimization Strategy:
Read this carefully:
With TrafficFactory, you have this 'adrate' system, since they have gone CPC. This adrate signifies that if your CTR is higher you will pull in higher amount of impressions and hence, higher amount of clicks. Now with TF, you don't have ad approval issues like TJ (Even CHAT CREATIVES ARE ACCEPTED). These creatives have a CTR of 3% to 5%, ADRATE significantly goes up.
That's why in the beginning of the thread I said- It is very important for you to take note of your banner name, so that you know what banner is converting.
Now these chat creatives have a higher adrate and pull in volume but they didn't convert at all for me, so I had to pause all of them.
Now I took a note of what kind of banners were converting. They were these 'LOCAL NEIGHBOUR FUCK' , SHAKING BOOBS style banners that were having upto 400% ROI.
I now made 20 banners like these default banners of mine and uploaded them.
Why did I do that?
The reason is that now you have an optimized campaign, but your CTR has gone down so volume has gone down. TF sets a new banner at a default higher adrate and sends volume and adjusts adrate accordingly.
Also 2nd reason being, more split testing.
So the ROI is maintained. Now I have just made 4 variations for now, but my designer is on it.
So today just 4 extra variation banners and the existing ones:
SPEND: 14 $
REVENUE: 29.4 $
ROI : 110 %

I think the reason you didn't get a lot of feedback was because you dove in head first and started spewing knowledge. Probably because you were rushed to cover everything as quickly as possible. That doesn't leave much room for a two way conversation. Also, if you check the dates, the contest was over before you started complaining about nobody giving feedback.
